  Firmware Tracker Updated
Posted on Monday, August 09 @ 01:18:33 MDT by Christopher Price

Added a list of firmwares for SonyEricsson Bluetooth headsets and cameras compatible with the SonyEricsson T608. MCA-25 owners can check their firmware by dialing *#*# (with the CommuniCam window open). Headset revisions can be checked by pairing the headset with a SonyEricsson phone, then by going to Connect > Accessories and selecting the headset.

We reccomend GlobalMobility, a SonyEricsson authorized service point (the only Service Point for SE devices not owned by SonyEricsson in the United States). While in the rest of the world it is free to get an update, SonyEricsson wants $37... because you're an American. Global Mobility will update the firmware of any SE accessory for only $10, and any phone for $30.

Has their ever been a true firmware update for the T608? I thought the factory's R1A (also called R1C in the field) was it.

BTW, I would gladly pay $37 for a firmware update that actually fixed all the bugs in this phone!

Yea, whats the skinny on this? Is it for real.. I would really love for this phone to be able to be upgraded like that and have all the bugs fixed and so on.
