FutureDial (makers of SnapSync phone syncing software) is reporting that the SonyEricsson T606 will be coming to Verizon after all, they mark the carrier/phone combo as receiving a version of the SnapSync software. The only date is "coming soon" however FutureDial has relations with many carriers, and would probably know which carriers will be carrying the T606.
