Coffee Anyone?

Welcome to the Coffee Anyone? series of posts... when we're up late working on PCS Intel, you'll hear about it.

Burning the midnight oil is not fun. Tonight we've finished deploying MediaWiki 1.6 on the PCS Intel Knowledge Base. That was the easy part. The hard part was the start of PCS Intel's AdSense Optimization (case study pending). Going through SQL databases to remove hundreds of hard-coded ads (thank you PHP-Nukeflop) was not a fun task. But, now we can deploy better ads. Why? Because, in the words of a great Page "you actually do read them". And, we thank you (it's a whole lot better than putting up donation pots). Now, if you will excuse me, I'm about to press the two-cup button on my Senseo... again...

Oh, and and a working comments system will be up on Sprint PCS Info shortly, until then, feel free to sound off in the PCS Intel Forums. Aparrently many are having trouble entering what phones and carriers they have, it will be taken care of.

After recent updates, internal statistics, ad revenues, and other metrics, something has become quite clear; April has been our most sucessful month at PCS Intel (and we're not even done with the month yet). So, once again, thanks to you, PCS Intel is possible.

Welcome!

Welcome to the new Sprint PCS Info. We have radically re-formatted Sprint PCS Info to be both a launchpad for people researching Sprint, as well as the blog of PCS Intel. Because of this, most older functions of Sprint PCS Info have been delegated to PCS Intel. Here, you'll find the goings-on of PCS Intel, what we're working on, and how we're going to be expanding our role in the wireless information exchange.

So how different are things going to really be? Well, not much. Sprint will still be talked about here (it is Sprint PCS Info after all), but our goal is to make Sprint PCS Info an optional experience, unlike PCS Intel.

And yes, we promise we'll get things looking better here, too. Did we mention we're hiring graphics designers?
